Job summary

Sunrise Management is seeking a temporary Community Manager for Panorama Apartments in Palm Desert, CA. The role oversees leasing, staff leadership, and property operations with a focus on resident satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

The position is full-time, temporary for 3–6 months, with a pay range of $24.00–$26.00 per hour and eligibility for benefits. Bonuses may be offered for leasing performance at the property.

Qualifications

• A college degree or related coursework is preferred.
• Minimum of one to two years of property management experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and property management software.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of California landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing policies, and basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and evaluate on-site staff while fostering a supportive work environment.
• Oversee on-site operations, maintenance, and compliance with standards.
• Promote units, manage showings, and ensure leasing records comply with Fair Housing.
• Maintain resident relations and respond to service requests promptly.
• Administer payroll records, rent collection, and budgeting with cost controls.
• Ensure adherence to California laws, ADA, and safety standards.
