Job summary

University Housing and Dining at The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Temporary Catering Experience and Sales Coordinator to support Longhorn Hospitality Catering. The role coordinates event logistics, maintains event and financial records, engages with clients, and ensures smooth communication between customers and catering teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of operational experience in food service, catering, and/or event coordination.
• Experience operating, maintaining, and cleaning servicing equipment and tools.
• Food Safety Training as required by University Housing and Dining.

Responsibilities

• Confirm Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) 3-4 business days prior to events.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Director and teams to meet client requirements.
• Lead client meetings with student organizations and departments for services.
• Prepare and share daily event updates with Culinary Creation and Experience Production Teams.
• Create BEOs for clients and assist in event execution during peak periods.
• Support student workers and ensure timely OOEFs and BEO submissions.
