Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Temporary Catering Experience and Sales Coordinator to support Longhorn Hospitality Catering. You will coordinate event logistics, maintain accurate records, and facilitate communication between clients and catering teams.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years in catering/event coordination, and experience with MS Office. On-campus, 40 hours/week, with immediate start and a projected end date of December 29, 2026.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. 3 years of operational experience in food service, catering, and/or event coordination.
• Experience in operating, maintaining, and cleaning servicing equipment and tools.
• Ability to complete and maintain Food Safety Training required by University Housing and Dining.

Responsibilities

• Confirm BEOs 3-4 business days prior to events with client communications.
• Create BEOs for clients and assist in event execution during high volume periods.
• Submit OOEFs and BEOs to UHD Accounts Receivable and track missing information.
• Process client payments and purchase orders, coordinate with accounting and leadership.
