Job summary

The Orangewood Foundation in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Temporary Facilities Coordinator to split time between Samueli Academy and other Orangewood facilities, handling a variety of maintenance tasks under the Facilities Manager.

You will manage day-to-day work orders, execute preventative maintenance, document repairs, coordinate with the facilities team, monitor supplies, and help ensure all sites are safe, well maintained, and ready to support youth programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, or furniture repair preferred.
• Experience reading work orders and installation manuals.
• Valid California driver’s license and DMV clearance required.
• Comfort working around adolescents in school and residential settings.
• Pre-employment screenings including criminal background and drug test may apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day work orders and projects at multiple sites.
• Complete campus preventative maintenance per best practices and compliance requirements.
• Communicate necessary repairs to Facilities Manager and keep notes in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with facilities team to ensure all facilities are well maintained and up to standards.
• Monitor supplies and spare parts inventory and coordinate orders with the Facilities Manager.
• Help ensure maximum productivity and efficiency associated with maintenance.
• Additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
