Cengage Group Milady is hiring a temporary Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our ExamReady solution in Columbus, OH. The role centers on outbound calls and emails to generate qualified opportunities and set up product demonstrations with the sales team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with customers, is goal-oriented, and comfortable with high-volume outreach. Compensation is $20-23 per hour with monthly incentives for qualified appointments.

• Comfortable conducting a high volume of outbound customer outreach.

• Positive, persistent, and comfortable hearing 'no' while pursuing opportunities.
• Experience in sales, customer service, business development, appointment setting, or lead generation is preferred but not required.
• Interest in the beauty, wellness, or education industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out outbound communication with potential customers via phone and email.
• Connect with beauty and wellness education customers and present Milady’s ExamReady solution.
• Identify customer interest and generate qualified opportunities for the sales team.
• Schedule qualified demo appointments for assigned sales representatives.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach and scheduled appointments.
• Partner with sales reps to ensure smooth handoff and positive customer experience.
• Meet weekly activity and appointment goals.
