Job summary

Cengage Group, the Milady brand’s partner, seeks a Temporary Business Development Representative in Columbus, OH to drive outbound outreach and set qualified demonstrations for the ExamReady solution. You will engage beauty and wellness education customers, qualify opportunities for the sales team, and help achieve appointment targets while maintaining accurate activity records.

The role is a temporary, direct hire with hourly compensation and a monthly incentive program.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence and integrity when speaking with customers by phone.
• Ability to quickly build rapport and communicate value.
• Comfortable conducting a high volume of outbound customer outreach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out proactive outbound communication with potential customers through phone and email.
• Connect with beauty and wellness education customers and present the benefits of Milady’s ExamReady solution.
• Identify customer interest and needs and generate qualified opportunities for the sales team.
• Schedule qualified demo appointments for assigned sales representatives.
• Maintain accurate records of customer outreach, conversations, and scheduled appointments.
• Meet established weekly activity and appointment goals.
