Job summary

Fastbreak-Ai in Charlotte, NC is seeking a temp-to-hire Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the accounting team with daily billing and payment processing. You will handle vendor and customer calls, follow up on invoices, and upload travel invoices to Sage, ensuring records are accurate and payments stay on track.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in AP/AR or collections, strong data entry, and proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets. Sage experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or collections.
• Professional phone manner and clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
• Organized and persistent in following items through to resolution.
• Experience with Sage preferred.
• Experience processing travel or expense invoices a plus.

We are hiring a temp-to-hire Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our accounting team with day-to-day billing and payment work. In this role, you will handle vendor and customer calls, follow up on outstanding invoices, and upload travel invoices to Sage, keeping our records accurate and payments on track. This position has the potential to be long-term, or permanent, depending on business need. The pay rate for the role is 20/hr.
