LHH is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist for a 3-6 month contract in Kansas City, KS area. The role oversees the full-cycle AP process, supports accounting staff, and ensures daily activities are accurate and efficient, with a starting rate of $25/hour.

Responsibilities include reviewing and coding invoices in Sage, three-way matching, reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and audits. Candidates should have 1–3 years AP experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of AP, bookkeeping, or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and chart of accounts.

Senior Accounts Payable Specialist - CONTRACT

The Senior AP Specialist oversees the full-cycle Accounts Payable process, supports Senior Accounting Administrators, and ensures daily accounting activities are accurate and efficient. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume invoice processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This project will be 3-6 months to cover a leave with pay starting at $25/hour and going up based one experience. Read below for additional details!
