• > Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• > Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• > Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• > Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• > Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
• > Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures.
• Ensure the warehouse layout optimizes space and operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and sales to manage stock.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff; supervise scheduling and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies; lead safety training.
• Oversee timely and accurate order fulfillment and resolve delivery issues.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and staff productivity.
• Evaluate and implement continuous improvement to warehouse processes.
