Job summary

Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. in Belvidere, IL is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee warehouse performance, lead a hands-on team, and drive continuous improvement across receiving, storage, and shipping.

You will develop staff, enforce safety and quality standards, collaborate across departments, and ensure delivery of customer service goals while managing costs and resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse operations experience in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and ability to learn applicable software
• Strong communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to other MRS locations and customer sites

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes warehouse operations and human resources objectives by training, guiding, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating staff.
• Contributes to strategic plans by providing operations information and recommendations; implements standards for productivity, quality, and service.
• Forecasts labor requirements, analyzes variances, and initiates corrective actions to meet financial objectives.
• Develops and enforces policies and procedures for receiving, storage, inventory, and shipping.
