Job summary

The Signature Bar and Grill in Faribault, MN seeks a temporary prep cook with the potential to become a permanent team member. The role supports daily service with prep duties, assists with deliveries, and helps cooks as needed.

Requirements include prior prep cook experience, ability to stand 4+ hours, and lifting 50+ pounds. FIFO, labeling, and sanitation procedures must be followed. Work hours are Monday–Friday 9am–2pm, at $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior prep cook experience is required.
• Must be able to stand for 4+ hours at a time.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Understand and execute proper food safety procedures such as FIFO, date marking and labeling, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion a variety of food for daily service such as pizza sauce, pizza dough, cheese, vegetables, and soup using proper FIFO methods and proper sanitation.
• Assist with putting deliveries away.
• Assist cooks where needed.
• Filter and clean fryers.
