Job summary

Legends Global in Bemidji, MN is seeking a part-time Prep Cook to support the Food & Beverage team. You will follow approved recipes, prepare meats, vegetables, and soups, and ensure proper labeling and storage to minimize waste.

The role includes plating assistance for catered meals and supervising temporary staff under the direction of the Executive/Sous Chef. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and relevant kitchen experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year banquet facility cooking experience preferred.
• 3 years cook position experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, vegetables, proteins, starches, and soups per recipes and adjust quantities.
• Label and date food items for storage and maintain organization of storage rooms.
• Assist plating of catered meals and supervise temporary labor.
• Educate and train seasonal kitchen staff on procedures and standards.
