Job summary

CRAVE is seeking a Prep Cook to support our kitchen operations in Rochester, MN. You will prepare all items per recipes, assist with desserts, prep lists, and maintain sanitary work practices to ensure quality and speed in a high-volume environment.

The role requires reading English, basic math for measurements, strong organization, and the ability to multitask. ServSafe is a plus; available shifts start as early as 9 AM and extend late as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
• Assist cooks in the preparation of basic dessert items.
• Preps assigned items according to Prep Lists and par levels.
• Store and properly handle raw or prepared foods and non-food supplies.
• Measures and assembles ingredients; cuts and portions meat, fish and poultry.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and surfaces.
• Maintain workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Follow proper food handling techniques to avoid waste and expenses.
• Maintain personal hygiene and dress code.
• Follow safety regulations and report hazards.
• Attend in-service training sessions.
• Follow uniform, grooming, safety and sanitation rules.
