Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Subcontracts Closeout Admin (Temp.) to coordinate and execute administrative, contractual, financial, and regulatory closeout activities in accordance with FAR/DFARS and customer requirements. The role collaborates with Contracts, Finance, Property Management, Program Management and suppliers to ensure all obligations are fulfilled before final closeout.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 1+ year of administrative, procurement, subcontracts, contracts, supply chain, or government contracting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Excellent organization and communication skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute subcontract closeout actions from initiation through final closure per FAR/DFARS and company policies.
• Verify compliance and completion of contractual deliverables and financial obligations: final invoices, release of claims, IP/data rights, and security/export obligations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and subcontractors to obtain closeout documentation.
• Ensure files demonstrate regulatory compliance and audit readiness; update closeout milestones in ERP systems.
• Prepare management reports, metrics, dashboards, and closeout forecasts.
• Track aging subcontracts and closeout backlog; communicate status professionally.
