Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a temporary, hourly student assistant in the English department. The position supports front-desk duties, mail handling, and basic tech support, with the potential for reappointment based on budget and performance.

Ideal candidates are undergraduate students enrolled in at least six Fall/Spring units, with strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Availability 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student enrolled in at least six Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid for the current semester.
• Availability to work scheduled hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist with greeting visitors and route telephone inquiries.
• Handle mail and campus deliveries; assist with deliveries.
• Troubleshoot basic office tech (printers, computers, copy machines).
• Maintain office supplies inventory.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
