Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is offering a temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position in the Undergraduate Advising department. The role supports front desk coverage, scheduling, and information referrals for students, staff, and faculty.

As a temporary position ending by May 21, 2027, you will assist with workshops, events, and outreach, with opportunities depending on budget and performance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student status with enrollment in a minimum of six Fall/Spring units.

Responsibilities

• Assist with front desk coverage for Career Services and Undergraduate Advising.
• Check main phone voicemail and forward messages; respond to emails and calls professionally.
• Communicate with suite staff via email and Teams.
• Check students in for appointments.
• Develop proficiency in EAB/Warrior Connect to support students, staff, and faculty.
• Assist students with scheduling appointments through Warrior Connect.
• Provide information and referrals about programs, services, policies, and procedures.
• Help prepare materials for workshops, advising events, orientations, and outreach activities.
• Support during career fairs, networking events, and campus events; assist with setup and check-in.
• Other duties as assigned.
