Spartanburg Community College is seeking a friendly Admissions Front Desk Assistant to greet prospective students, families, and visitors. You will provide accurate information on admissions requirements, programs, deadlines, and campus resources, and direct inquiries to the appropriate offices.
You will also support staff with administrative tasks and data entry while upholding confidentiality of student records.
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, parents, and visitors by greeting incoming visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Provide accurate information about admissions requirements, application processes, deadlines, programs, and campus resources. Direct visitors to other departments when needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of admissions policies, academic programs, and institutional updates. Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive student information. Support admissions staff with administrative tasks such as assisting students in the computer lab, making student IDs, data entry and document processing. Contribute to a welcoming and positive experience for all visitors.
