HOURS: 40 per week

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the ERC-Early College department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.

Manage Temporary Staff, provide support to prospective dualenrollment students, parents and graduating seniors, guiding them throughcareer field and program exploration, the application process, documentcollection and necessary testing. Serve as the primary admissions liaisonbetween high school students and Greenville Technical College , ensuring a asmooth transition and clear communication. Evaluate and work with the Directorof Admissions to review and adjust admissions policies and procedures arounddual enrollment.

Prepare and deliver presentations and hold individualappointments with prospective students to discuss dual enrollmentopportunities, apprenticeships, work based learning, and other relevant topicsthat support dual enrollment and college transition.
Work closely with the Early College Program Coordinator,campus directors, and deans to ensure the appropriate course offerings areavailable and align with the needs of dual enrolled students.

Assist with building and maintaining relationships with allGreenville County K-12 program personnel (high school counselors) to includepublic and private high schools, charter schools, career centers, and homeassociations.
Accurately enter and update student data in the college'sinformation systems, handling tasks such as social security number corrections,status changes, address updates and withdrawals.

Evaluate incoming transcripts to determine courseequivalencies and transfer credits.
Assists students in understanding their academic records,degree requirements, and any necessary steps for completing their programs.

Administer policies related to student coursequalifications. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree and experience in student services programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience, Higher Education, K-12 experience, and database management. Experience with K-12 student engagement. Knowledge of dual enrollment. Strong organizational skills. Strong written, verbal and persuasive communication skills. Exceptional customer focus skills. Ability to travel to local recruiting functions. Ability to present a professional image and to work flexibly and with self-motivation independently and with constituents in team situations. Under direction and supervision of the Director of Early College, this employee must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Professionalism and discretion in decision making is required.
