Job summary

Pacific Office Automation Inc. is seeking 8 Temporary Document Scanning Specialists to support a large document imaging project at a client site in Portland. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced setting.

The temporary assignment runs through March 2027. While benefits are not offered for this temporary position, there may be opportunities to transition into a regular full-time role with Pacific Office Automation upon project completion

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a clear background check.
• Ability to lift and move file boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare paper documents for scanning
• Cut folders and separate documents as needed
• Tape photo edges and repair documents to ensure proper scanning
• Scan documents accurately using high-volume scanning equipment
• Perform basic quality checks on scanned images
• Organize and reassemble documents when required
• Shred documents according to client procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all client confidentiality and document security requirements
