Redwood Logistics in Chicago, Illinois is seeking a Temperature Control, Carrier Sales Representative to identify, source, and develop strong carrier relationships within the Multimodal Temperature Control Team. You will help maximize profitability and customer satisfaction across North America.

You’ll negotiate freight rates, coordinate available freight with motor carriers, and ensure service excellence. The role features a hybrid schedule after training, a base salary range of $50,000–$60,000

Qualifications

• Carrier Sales experience in brokerage preferred.
• Excellent communication, networking, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Results-driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and negotiate freight rates to motor carriers to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate available customer freight with motor carrier equipment.
• Maintain files of open shipments and trailer records.
• Communicate with motor carriers to schedule trucks and resolve issues.
• Verify freight charges and ensure payables accuracy before payment.
• Monitor Bill of Lading discrepancies and arrange proper returns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
