Redwood Logistics in Chicago, IL seeks an Experienced Carrier Sales and Operations professional to source and develop strong carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and maximize profitability while ensuring exceptional customer service.

As part of Redwood Multimodal, you will leverage industry knowledge to expand carrier networks, manage daily dial targets, and coordinate shipments from quote to payment, with a training period followed by a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven success in a Carrier Sales position within the logistics industry.
• Excellent communication, networking, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Results‑driven.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible; ability to change focus quickly to meet the demands of market conditions and/or company needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and develop strong business relationships with motor carriers.
• Negotiate freight rates to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate available customer freight with carrier equipment and internal postings.
• Provide service and support to motor carriers to build and sustain relationships.
• Track shipments and resolve issues or delays during transit.
