Job summary

Nexteel Saha, LLC in Crosby, TX is seeking an experienced Temporary Bookkeeper to support our manufacturing accounting during a six- to eight-week absence. This on-site role requires strong organization and the ability to contribute with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include processing AP/AR, vendor records, bank and GL reconciliations, payroll support, and month-end close tasks. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel is required; manufacturing accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation.
• Ability to manage a high volume of financial transactions.
• Manufacturing/accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices with proper coding and approvals.
• Enter vendor bills and maintain vendor records.
• Assist with accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment tracking.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts.
• Record deposits, payments, and expenses.
• Review vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounting records (electronic and physical).
• Assist with purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Provide payroll-related administrative support as needed.
• Prepare basic financial reports for management.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments on accounting matters.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as assigned.
