Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service or clerical office experience.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medi-Cal, private insurance, and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients/visitors, determine purpose of visit and direct them accordingly.
• Schedule patient flow based on established protocols and guidelines.
• Provide information to callers and ensure phone coverage.
• Maintain accurate patient registration and update in the EHR.
• Process referrals and assist with billing support as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and privacy regulations.
