Job summary

Asset Living is hiring a Temporary Assistant Community Manager in Los Angeles to oversee daily operations of a residential community under the Community Manager’s guidance. You will manage finances, rent collections, and move the community toward its budgeted goals.

You will supervise onsite staff, enforce company policies, and implement leasing strategies and resident retention programs while ensuring safety and fair housing compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years’ housing industry experience; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under supervision of the Community Manager.
• Manage rent collection, delinquency processes, and ensure accurate postings and reporting.
• Lead onsite staff: hiring, coaching, training, and performance feedback; ensure policy compliance.
• Plan and execute leasing strategies, resident retention initiatives, and monthly communications.
