Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory management, facilities coordination, or asset management is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Outlook; familiarity with asset management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with departments, investigators, and staff to schedule access for asset tagging.
  • Physically affix asset tags to federally funded equipment and capital assets.
  • Verify asset information (serial numbers, model numbers, funding sources) and update records.
  • Maintain accurate tagging records and update asset management systems.
  • Communicate scheduling and access requirements with faculty and staff.
  • Follow safety, access, and compliance protocols in lab environments.
  • Resolve discrepancies between assets and inventory records.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate status to management.
