Avero in South Bend is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily AP operations as the team moves from check payments to ACH and expands Oracle Fusion Cloud usage. This assignment starts immediately and runs through December, with a possible extension into February, onsite in a campus setting.

The role involves assisting with AP processing, maintaining records, and coordinating with the accounting team to ensure timely payments.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on accounts payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally.
• Comfortable learning accounting systems and adapting to process changes.
• Oracle Fusion Cloud experience is helpful but not required.
• A college degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounts payable processing and payment activities.
• Help maintain accurate AP records and ensure payments are completed on time.
• Assist with a weekly payment volume of approximately 140 checks.
• Support the transition from check payments to ACH.
• Assist with testing and implementing additional AP functions within Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Work closely with the accounting team to maintain coverage and keep work moving.
