Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temporary) to join our client’s finance team in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The role supports AP/AR functions for a fast-paced organization and offers exposure to multiple ERP systems.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. This temporary position pays hourly and may involve a variety of reporting and month-end tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and pivots.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate accounts payable records.
• Generate invoices and monitor accounts receivable aging reports.
• Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Process payments, ACH transactions, wire transfers, and check runs.
• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors regarding account issues.
