Job summary

Eurofins EAG Laboratories is seeking a TEM Scientist for their advanced microscopy team in Milpitas/Sunnyvale, CA. You will operate state-of-the-art TEM instruments to analyze materials and deliver high‑quality insights for clients across multiple industries.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering and 3+ years of hands-on TEM experience, with strong data interpretation and client communication skills.

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science and Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on TEM analysis for diverse materials.
• Thorough knowledge of TEM operations and imaging modes.

Responsibilities

• Operate TEM tools to obtain TEM/STEM images, SAED, EDS and EELS data.
• Develop TEM analysis protocols to meet client requests.
• Create summaries linking objectives, data and interpretation.
