Job summary

Eurofins | EAG Laboratories in Milpitas is seeking skilled Materials Analysts focused on Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) to support advanced materials analysis.

The successful candidate will perform various analyses, prepare reports, and improve protocols, with a schedule from 5pm to 2am. Ideal candidates should have a BS or MS in Materials Science and a strong understanding of semiconductor physics.

Qualifications

U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR: U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Excellent understanding and operation of Transmission Electron Microscope.
Solid understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics, and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

Obtain bright field, high resolution, and diffraction patterns using TEM.
Prepare and deliver summary reports to customers.
Develop TEM analysis protocols for new sample types.

Skills

Understanding and operation of Transmission Electron Microscope

Experience with TEM sample preparation

Electron microscopy and semiconductor device physics

Education

BS or MS in Materials Science and Engineering
