Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager for our Denver, CO Rocky Mountain unit, to be located on-site in Telluride, CO to support a major hospitality and resort project. The incumbent will oversee project teams, safety, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor buyouts on-site through project completion.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager(s) to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost control while maintaining stakeholder relationships and adherence to company

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of field and project construction management experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven history of leading others and mentoring.
• Commercial, Industrial, Aviation, and Mission Critical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct the project in accordance with plans, schedule, specs and standards.
• Lead subcontractors and field employees on a jobsite.
• Lead project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy.
• Work with Project Manager(s) to manage schedule, budget and staff.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule and two-week look aheads.
• Assist with buyout and selection of major subcontractors.
• Identify ways to reduce cost and improve schedule and quality.
• Ensure project documents are accurate and compliant (closeout docs, submittals, daily logs).
• Review and enforce all contract terms and obligations.
