Job summary

The Weitz Company in Telluride, CO is seeking a Field Engineer to join the Denver-based Rocky Mountain unit for an onsite, landmark hospitality project. Relocation to Telluride for the duration is required to support field operations with the project team.

You'll assist supervision of field work, help review plans, coordinate with subcontractors, maintain schedules and cost reporting, and ensure safe, efficient progress through hands-on collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Industry-related college degree required.
• Minimum of two years of project management construction experience or internship in a construction-related firm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to balance deadlines and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of project plan and risk mitigation plans and ensure proper execution.
• Recommend design or process changes to improve quality, reduce costs, and improve schedule.
• Assist Superintendent with equipment review, pre-construction meetings, and layout communication.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials on the jobsite; support site logistics and cleanup.
• Maintain cost reporting and respond to RFIs; help update project schedules and monitor field performance.
