Job summary

The Weitz Company in Denver is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager for our Rocky Mountain unit, to be located onsite in Telluride, CO to support one of the region's largest Hospitality and Resort projects to date.

This position will be required on site in Telluride, CO for the duration of the project, overseeing multiple medium-sized projects or a large complex project and ensuring quality standards and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ field and project construction management experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven history of leading others and mentoring.
• Commercial, Industrial, Aviation, and Mission Critical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct the project in accordance with plans, schedule, specifications and standards.
• Lead subcontractors and field employees on a jobsite.
• Lead project safety in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy.
• Work with Project Manager(s) to manage the project schedule, budget and staff.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule using scheduling software; prepare two-week look ahead schedules.
• Assist with buyout and selection of major subcontractors.
• Identify ways to reduce cost, improve schedule dates, and project quality.
• Ensure project documents are accurate, timely, and compliant (closeout docs, submittals, daily logs).
• Review and enforce all contract terms and obligations.
