Job summary

Community First Credit Union's Manitowoc Branch is seeking a Teller who will handle cash, engage members with WOW service, and uphold accuracy in a high-volume environment.

You will receive cash, process deposits, loans and payments, balance drawers, and promote credit union products. Training is provided, and a friendly, community-focused workplace awaits.

Open hours reflect drive-up and lobby schedules; this position offers growth in financial services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of cash handling experience; Teller experience a plus.
• Excellent listening ability and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and web-based software packages.
• Passion for providing outstanding service to our members.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, WOW service to internal and external members.
• Receive cash and checks for deposit into members accounts.
• Cash checks for members.
• Accept loan and credit card payments.
• Make transactions between accounts as instructed by members.
• Place proper holds on deposited items for uncollected funds following CFCU policy and procedure.
• Handle proper disbursement of cashier's checks, money orders, and gift cards.
• Identify non-negotiable and fraudulent checks to avoid losses for the member and the credit union.
• Accurately balance and close cash drawer at the end of each business day.
• Promote, cross-sell, and refer credit union products and services to fulfill member financial needs.
