Job summary

Community First Credit Union in De Pere, WI seeks a friendly Teller to warmly serve members, handle cash and transactions, and promote credit union products. You will balance cash drawer daily and help members with a range of services in a community-focused environment. Open in the drive-up from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Monday through Friday, and in the lobby from 8:30 to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, and 8:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of cash handling experience; Teller experience is a plus.
Excellent listening ability and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packages.
Passion for providing outstanding service to members.
Ability to work hard, find solutions, and have fun.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional, WOW service to internal and external members.
Receive cash and checks for deposit into members accounts.
Cash checks for members.
Accept loan and credit card payments.
Make transactions between accounts as instructed by members.
Place proper holds on deposited items for uncollected funds following policy and procedure.
Handle proper disbursement of cashier's checks, money orders, and gift cards.
Identify non-negotiable and fraudulent checks to avoid losses for the member and the credit union.
Accurately balance and close cash drawer at the end of each business day.
Promote, cross-sell, and refer credit union products and services to fulfill member financial needs.
