Job summary

Westfield Bank is seeking a Part-Time Teller at the East Main Street branch to deliver prompt, friendly service while handling daily transactions such as deposits and withdrawals. You will assist customers with inquiries and ensure accuracy in cash handling during a 19-hour weekly schedule including Sunday, Friday, and Saturday shifts.

You will maintain cash drawer security, balance at day end, and meet referral goals for banking products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months of previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established Westfield Bank customer service standards.
• Provides information regarding bank products to all potential customers.
• Independent performance of all teller transactions and related services.
• Maintains security of cash drawer.
• Proves cash drawer at end of day.
• Meets assigned referral goals through referral of bank products and services to meet customers banking needs.
• Assists in resolving customer problems as they arise.
• May assist with balancing the ATM.
• Assist customers with Safe Deposit.
• Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
• Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides prompt and professional service to new and existing customers by handling day-to-day transactions which include but not limited to; processing transactions such as deposits and withdrawals and assisting with customer inquiries.

Must be available to work the following schedule:

• Sunday 9:45a – 3:15p
• Friday 11:00a – 7:15p
• Saturday 9:30a – 3:15p

Total Hours: 19.00
