Job summary

Westfield Bank's Morgan Rd Branch in West Springfield, MA is seeking a Part-Time Teller to provide prompt and professional service to customers by handling day-to-day transactions such as deposits and withdrawals. You will maintain cash drawer security, meet referral goals, assist with inquiries, and comply with BSA/AML and regulatory policies.

The role requires at least a High School diploma and 6 months cash handling/customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals) and assist customers with inquiries.
• Maintain accuracy and security of cash drawer and balance at end of day.
• Meet referral goals through recommending bank products and services to customers.
• Assist with balancing the ATM and processing Branch operations as needed.
• Complete required regulatory training (BSA, AML) and adhere to bank policies.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides prompt and professional service to new and existing customers by handling day-to-day transactions which include but not limited to; processing transactions such as deposits and withdrawals and assisting with customer inquiries.

Must be available to work the following schedule:

• Sunday 9:45am - 1:15pm
• Monday 8:15am - 5:15pm
• Tuesday 8:45am -5:15pm
• Wednesday 9:00am - 5:15pm

Total 27.75 hours/week

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Adheres to established Westfield Bank customer service standards.
• Provides information regarding bank products to all potential customers both retail and commercial.
• Independent performance of all teller transactions and related services.
• Maintains security of cash drawer.
• Proves cash drawer at end of day.
• Meets assigned referral goals through referral of bank products and services to meet customers banking needs.
• Assists in resolving customer problems as they arise.
• May assist with balancing the ATM.
• Assist customers with Safe Deposit.
• Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
• Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
