Job summary

Grove Bank & Trust is seeking a Teller to handle routine retail banking transactions for personal and commercial customers in Miami. You will balance cash drawers, promote banking products, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced branch environment.

You will identify customer needs, assist with account servicing, and support branch management while following procedures and compliance requirements. Strong communication and multitasking abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AA degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of retail banking experience including teller/client service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with Outlook, MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Greets, assists, and directs walk-in clients to the appropriate employee or department.
• Processes deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, savings bond redemptions, foreign currency orders, and cashier’s checks.
• Balances daily transactions and teller cash drawer; may assist with ATM/branch vault balancing.
• Identifies customer needs, promotes bank products, and makes referrals as needed.
• Assists with operational duties including shipment verification, cash ordering, audits, and safe deposit service.
• Assists with client account servicing, changes, debit card orders, and wire transfers.
• Provides support during new account openings and ensures proper documentation per policy.
• Ensures transactions comply with internal policies and prepares BSA/AML reports as required.
• Maintains strong controls to minimize liability and protect branch from fraud.
