Job summary

City National Bank of Florida is seeking a customer-oriented Teller to join our branch team in Miami Beach. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account openings with accuracy while providing proactive client service and cross-selling bank products to meet client needs.

The position requires 2–4 years of teller experience, strong cash handling skills, and a solid knowledge of teller procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years teller experience.
• Strong sales experience.
• Prior knowledge of teller procedures and policies; working knowledge of online teller systems.
• Proven abilities in needs-based sales and high-level client servicing skills.
• Excellent client service and cash handling experience.
• Ability to process or interpret detailed written materials and perform detailed mathematical functions accurately.
• Be security conscious, accurate and attentive to detail.
• Understanding of compliance with Federal & State laws governing teller areas.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals and maintain high client service levels.
• May need to work extended hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Consistently meets and/or exceeds assigned individual and team sales goals.
• Increases Bank relationships through cross-selling, marketing materials, promotions, telemarketing, developing client relations and providing prompt client service.
• Develops and maintains a prospect list of potential clients; participates in networking and outside sales efforts.
• Opens and processes all types of accounts, products and/or services for clients.
• Handles general client inquiries; reconciles client statements and coordinates with operations regarding discrepancies.
• Provides teller services and processes deposits, withdrawals, checks, travelers checks, and loan payments.
• Facilitates transactions; responds quickly to client questions.
• Provides access to safe deposit boxes after verifying identity and access rights.
• Performs vault duties and ATM reconciliations; assists with wire transfers.
• Travels to various bank locations as needed.
