Job summary

Grove Bank & Trust is seeking a Personal Banking Associate in the South Miami Office to handle routine retail banking transactions for personal and commercial customers. The role balances daily tasks with adherence to bank policies, while promoting products and supporting branch sales and servicing efforts.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (AA preferred) and at least two years of retail banking experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of retail banking-related experience including Teller or client service experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for in-person or phone interactions.
• Strong knowledge of standard bank products, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists walk-in clients and directs them to the appropriate staff.
• Processes deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions with accuracy.
• Promotes bank products and services and makes referrals to Personal Bankers when appropriate.
• Supports branch operations, including cash ordering, audits, and safe deposit services.
• Assists with new account opening processes and ensures proper documentation and compliance.
