Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking a Full-Time Member Service Representative/Teller for the Medical Center Parkway Office, located at 2206 Medical Center Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Candidates must possess excellent member service skills, professionalism, and confidentiality. Previous financial institution experience is preferred. The Medical Center Parkway Office hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. If applicable, a two-three week paid training program will be held in Evansville, IN. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Serve as a primary Member Service Representative (MSR).
  2. Meet member needs by maintaining appropriate knowledge of all company products and services.
  3. Run various member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, credit card payments, transfers, and shared branching transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
  4. Determine acceptability of negotiable items and place holds on deposited funds when appropriate.
  5. Learn to identify potential fraud situations and take appropriate action to help protect the member and the Credit Union.
  6. Learn to recognize member’s needs and recommend appropriate products and services while providing quality member service.
  7. Strive to balance cash drawer each day.
  8. Strive to meet MSR cross sell goals and work to support all branch goals and initiatives.
  9. Assist with processing night drop.
  10. Assist in balancing branch cash machines.
  11. Assist members in accessing safe deposit boxes.
  12. Answer member telephone inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a HS diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel to other office locations when needed.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and do some heavy lifting.
  • Must have 1-2 years of cash handling experience.
  • Banking experience preferred.
