Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller - Float who serves as the first point of contact for clients, performing teller transactions with accuracy and confidentiality while traveling to cover branches in need of staffing support. Under guidance from managers, you will balance cash drawers, promote basic bank products, and continually expand knowledge of products and services to meet customers' financial needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and text.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling accurately and confidentially (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, etc.).
• Balance cash drawer and balance the ATM and related tasks.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping cash and ensuring proper transfer of funds.
• Interacts with clients, identifies needs, and offers appropriate banking products.
• Continuously deepen knowledge of Columbia Bank products and services.
• Discuss and uncover customer financial needs and refer basics to the right partner.
