Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller - Float to serve as the first point of contact for clients and to perform standard teller transactions with accuracy and confidentiality. The position requires travel across branches to provide staffing support as needed.

You will support daily branch tasks, mitigate risk, deepen product knowledge, and refer clients to appropriate partners. The role emphasizes proactive customer service and relationship building within a compliant banking environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of banking or customer service experience.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies and systems.
• Demonstrates accuracy with numbers and written instructions.
• Strong relationship-building with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and process deposits, withdrawals, and other transfers.
• Support branch operations and participate in risk mitigation.
• Assist customers and refer basic bank products to appropriate partners.
• Travel within geographic area to cover staffing needs.
