Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients at our Albany, OR location. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other cash transactions with precision and confidentiality, while extending proactive service by understanding client needs.

Under guidance from management, you will deepen product knowledge, support branch referral goals, and ensure operations align with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year of previous banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with written numbers, words, and instructions.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and support ATM, negotiable instrument balancing, and related tasks.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping money and prompt transfer/accounting of funds.
• Interact with clients to identify needs and refer basic products to the business partner.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and banking regulations in daily tasks.
