Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller in Tacoma to serve as the first point of contact for clients and process transactions accurately and compliantly. You will work under the guidance of Branch leadership to deliver Breakthrough Client Service Standards and grow client relationships with proactive solutions.

The role emphasizes cash handling, daily branch tasks, risk mitigation, and product referrals, with a pay range of $18.00–$23.00 per hour. Onsite position at 601 North 1st Avenue, Tacoma, WA.

Qualifications

• 1 year of banking or customer service experience.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies and systems.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail with numbers and written instructions.
• Strong ability to build relationships with clients and bank associates.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling for clients with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Maintains the branch by completing daily tasks and balancing cash drawers.
• Mitigates risk by safekeeping money and prompt transferring of funds.
• Interacts with clients to identify needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
• Continuously learns Columbia Bank’s product offerings and stays current on changes.
