Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients at our Bellevue location. You will perform routine transactions with accuracy and uphold Breakthrough Client Service Standards while identifying client needs and opportunities to propose bank products.

Onsite in Bellevue, WA, with a benefits package and a pay range of $18.00–$24.00 per hour. Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn policy and procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Ability to learn and comply with Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in numbers and instructions.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, etc.).
• Balance cash drawer and support daily branch tasks to maintain integrity of operations.
• Mitigate risk by safeguarding cash and ensuring prompt accounting or transfers.
• Interact with clients to anticipate needs and offer appropriate banking products and services.
• Deepen knowledge of Columbia Bank's products and stay current on changes.
• Refer basic bank products to the appropriate business partner.
