Job summary

Renasant Bank is seeking a Teller in Germantown, TN to process customer transactions, assist with inquiries, and identify sales opportunities within bank policies. This role is the frontline for delivering an exceptional customer experience and accurate transactions.

Senior Tellers provide additional operational and sales support, serving as back-up to Head Teller and guiding branch operations. The position requires strong cash handling and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year teller experience and/or cash handling preferred.
• 6 months customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers and identify opportunities during transactions.
• Excellent 10-key and mathematical skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of bank products and solutions; travel for training between branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and checks.
• Identify customer needs during transactions and refer to appropriate platforms.
• Execute service standards in every customer interaction.
• Address customer issues or escalate to a branch teammate.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Perform daily operations such as balancing and ATM/vault procedures.
• Follow compliance and risk procedures to protect the bank.
• Assist Head Teller with additional operational procedures as needed.
• May coach and mentor teller teammates as a role model.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
