Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients at our Ellensburg branch. You'll perform routine banking transactions with accuracy, build relationships, and identify opportunities to offer bank products and services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and words; clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong ability to build relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, etc.).
• Balance cash drawer and related ATM/credit card processes; manage daily tasks to maintain branch integrity.
• Mitigate risk through safekeeping of cash and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
• Interact with external and internal clients, anticipate needs, and provide proactive solutions aligned with service standards.
• Identify opportunities to refer basic bank products and services to the appropriate business partner.
