Job summary

Southside Bank’s Hawkins In-Store location seeks a friendly teller to provide accurate cash handling and everyday banking services. You will process deposits, withdrawals, checks, and change orders while ensuring transaction validity and security.

Build lasting customer relationships through courteous, professional service. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months cash handling or customer service experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication; accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions with accuracy (deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, change orders).
• Maintain cash drawer and balancing per policy; follow security and compliance rules.
• Provide courteous, professional service and identify cross-sell opportunities; refer to appropriate departments as needed.
• Protect confidentiality and accuracy of customer information while delivering a memorable customer experience.
