Southside Bank is seeking a full-time Teller at the Hawkins In-Store location in Hawkins, TX. The role involves providing teller services—deposits, withdrawals, checks, and change orders—with accuracy and professional customer interaction.

You will ensure transaction validity, refer complex items as needed, and uphold security and confidentiality. The position emphasizes cross-selling, daily balancing, and adherence to bank policies.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or the equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in typing, 10-key calculator and data entry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Completion of Southside Bank instructor led classes: New Employee Orientation, Teller Training, Teller Advanced and Professional Teller

Responsibilities

• Provide teller services including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks and change orders with accuracy.
• Maintain accuracy in transaction validity and refer questionable items to supervision.
• Recognize cross-sell opportunities and guide customers to appropriate bank departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and communicate account details accurately.
• Balance cash drawer and comply with Teller Over/Short policies.
