Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Construction Project Administrator 1 to guide major facility projects supporting safe transportation services across the region. You will oversee buildings, sites, and essential systems, working with a team that values responsibility, teamwork, and leadership in managing public assets.

The role emphasizes facility assets, project management, and technical support across district facilities.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in building construction administration, planning, or multi-trade project management with a related bachelor’s degree.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training in construction administration or project management.

Responsibilities

• Facility Oversight: Manage building conditions, grounds, and infrastructure across district offices, garages, and stockpile sites.
• Emergency Response: Coordinate actions during facility emergencies to ensure safety, stabilization, and timely reopening.
• Project Management: Guide planning, design, and construction activities and review proposals, budgets, and progress reports.
• Technical Support: Assist staff with specifications, contract details, and maintenance requirements for building systems.
• Safety Coordination: Support safety standards, inspection practices, and corrective actions for contractors and facilities.
• Stakeholder Communication: Work with managers, contractors, and agencies to share updates and finalize reports.
